Overall responsibility for Direct & Indirect tax, Secretarial, Legal and other compliance for the group of companies and partnership firm.
Direct Taxation:
· Liaisoning with the Manager and Consultants for timely completion of the following :
Prepare and assist in monthly TDS/TCS workings and payments.
Support in filing of income tax returns and maintaining related documentation.
Track and ensure compliance with statutory timelines for all direct tax submissions.
Coordinate with consultants for resolving direct tax assessments and notices.
Maintain documentation for Certificates i.e. form 16 & 16A, 15CA-CB, lower deduction certificates, etc. · Tax compliance of the Managing Director of the group.
Indirect Taxation:
· Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC-04, annual returns).
· Reconcile GST input/output and coordinate with accounts & vendors for corrections.
· Ensure E-Invoice & E-way Bill Compliance
· Ensure all indirect tax payments and filings are completed on time.
· Provide data support for departmental audits and assessments.
Secretarial:
· Support the Company Secretary and Manager in preparing and filing ROC forms and returns.
· Maintain statutory registers, resolutions, and records as per Companies Act requirements.
· Assist in ensuring compliance for Board and Shareholder meetings.
· Provide documentation support for funding-related secretarial compliance.
Regulatory & Licensing
· Track and maintain compliance for licenses, registrations, and renewals.
· Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams for submissions and renewals.
· Maintain a compliance calendar for timely follow-ups.
Audit & Documentation:
· Assist during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
· Provide data and documents requested by auditors and consultants.
· Maintain audit trail records and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
· Preparation of Director’s reports, accounting policies, notes to accounts, etc.
Assist in following other matters:
Monthly payment of PF, ESIC, PT before respective due dates through HR · Monthly return Filing of PF, ESIC, PT before respective due dates through HR
· Preparation of Director’s reports, accounting policies, notes to accounts, etc.
· Preparing the data and reply to be filed with Governmental authorities and visiting Statutory Dpt. if required.
· Full-fledged documentation in soft & hard copies for all the statutory compliances.
· Handle ad-hoc compliance assignments and personal compliance tasks as directed
